Western Area Modeling Society, hereafter referred to as WAMS, is a 509A2 nonprofit organization for participants and enthusiasts of air and surface modeling as a hobby. The club will provide support and education for anyone wanting to learn how to fly model aircraft and operate land or water vehicles. Areas of instruction include flying or using aircraft, cars, trucks, or boats, designing and building vehicles learning the safety rules and regulations, and identifying and repairing electrical and electronic problems. The areas of activities recognized are: Radio Controlled Aircraft, Control Line Aircraft, Radio Controlled Land and Water Vehicles.
